HRDI Alabama Minimize

HRDI was invited to Alabama in November 2003 to provide its services for individuals with substance abuse problem, mental illness, behavioral challenges, mental retardation, and developmental disabilities.

HRDI has 13 licensed and certified mental retardation community-based group homes with the capacity to serve 39 adults with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Each home houses three individuals and provides 24-hour supervision, care, and guidance in daily living. The program is tailored to include all of HRDI’s community partners in order to meet individual clients’ medical, transportation, financial management and job placement needs, along with other specific areas that they might need additional assistance with.
