High School Teachers Minimize
HRDI is seeking Science, Social Science and English Teachers for Vivian E. Summers High School, an Alternative Safe School serving 122 students in grades 6-12 this school year. Our curriculum is focused on developing critical thinking and problem solving skills, learning to use current technology and analyzing information from multiple perspectives.

All applicants must:

• Have outstanding attendance and punctuality.
• Be able to articulate effective teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles.
• Have superior written, verbal and listening skills that support positive interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and parents to meet the needs of our students.
• Attend professional development activities at the local, state and national level to acquire current knowledge and expertise needed to support our students.
• Commit to summer professional development and ongoing curriculum planning.

In addition, the following qualifications are required for each subject:

Science
• Type 09 Certificate in High School Science.
• Ability to teach Chemistry, Earth/Space Science, Environmental Science and Biology.

Social Science
• Type 09 Certificate in High School Social Science.
• Ability to teach African-American History, U.S. History and World History.

English
• Type 09 Certificate in High School English.
• Ability to teach English 1-4.

Nursing Supervisor Minimize
HRDI is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for the Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse and Division for Mental Health. This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring that high quality nursing care is provided to HRDI clients. The applicant must:

• Comply with all policies governing controlled substances including but not limited to the counting, administering and documenting of such substances.
• Maintain adequate inventory of controlled substances.
• Communicate with the Program Director regarding client needs, changes in status and emergencies regarding medical or psychiatric conditions.
• Administer medications, conduct treatments and document client progress as ordered and as appropriate per department protocol and established guidelines.
• Manage schedules of all dosing nurses and monitors on all shifts.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with HRDI's policies.

This position requires at minimum: Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor's degree (BA) from an approved, accredited school of nursing, current CPR certificate, and good documentation skills. Prior supervisory experience with two(2) or more years of experience working with individuals with substance abuse issues and/or mental health disease is preferred.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Minimize
HRDI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse and Division for Mental Health. This is a full-time position responsible for providing quality nursing care to HRDI clients. The applicant must:

• Administer medication as ordered by the Program Director.
• Maintain accurate accounting of all medication received and dispensed
• Prepare current patient progress reports and completion notices
• Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations.

This position requires at minimum: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, Bachelor's degree (BA) from an approved, accredited school of nursing, current CPR certificate, and good documentation skills. One (1) or more years in behavioral health is preferred.

Counselor (CADC) Minimize
HRDI is seeking Counselors to perform individual, family and group therapy. This is a full-time position responsible for providing direct clinical services including intake assessment and treatment planning. The applicant must:

• Maintain session summaries and client progress notes.
• Provide written documentation to agencies as required.
• Assist in program case review.
• Be able to work with and treat addicted substance abuse clients.

This position is responsible for maintaining appropriate clinical documentation and compliance with recordkeeping standards. The position requires at minimum a Certification of Alcohol and Drug Counseling (CADC).

Program Supervisor ACT (Counselor) Minimize
HRDI is seeking a Program Supervisor ACT (Counselor) to provide clinical supervision to staff responsible for delivering services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. The applicant must:

• Oversee client services and ensure compliance with established program standards and service delivery objectives.
• Train, schedule and evaluate the performance of assigned staff.
• Serve as a resource to assigned staff in identifying and resolving complex case problems.
• Assume client caseload in response to work load or staffing shortages.

This position requires at minimum: Master’s degree (MA) in clinical social work, counseling or clinical psychology; Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) accreditation. Two (2) or more years of clinical experience providing mental health and/or substance abuse counseling services and supervisory experience is preferred.
